True craftsmanship
Polart Woodwork builds custom kitchen cabinets, built-ins, furniture and one-off wood accents. Your needs come first: we bring aesthetics and function together, use high-end material, and pay attention to the details that decide whether a room works.
We work with you at every step, and the full service is ours end to end: on-site measuring and consultation, design and customization, delivery and installation. Nothing is handed off to a third party.
Measured In Your Home
We template on site, not from a floor plan. Old houses are rarely square, and every scribe is cut to suit the walls you actually have.
Finished In-House
Stains, glazes and sprayed paint finishes are done in our own booth, so colour is matched across every door in the job and touch-ups years later still match.
High-End Material
Solid hardwood, sequence-matched veneers and furniture-grade plywood. We will tell you where the money is worth spending and where it is not.

Craft
From Southern Poland to Chicagoland
Our history dates back to Central Europe, where at an early age owner Frank Polak discovered a talent within him that sparked his soul. Filled with bold aspirations and unshaken faith, his journey evolved from hand carving wooden plates at his family home in Southern Poland to founding a cabinet making business across the ocean.
Three decades later the work is still made the same way, now out of our shop in Bridgeview. Polart Woodwork specializes in high-quality, handcrafted pieces, from custom kitchen cabinets and furniture through to unique wood accents, for homes across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
Dedication to Detail
The parts nobody photographs are the parts that fail first. Drawer boxes, hinge reinforcement, scribes to an out-of-square wall. We build those to the same standard as the doors.
Sustainability
We buy good material, cut it carefully and build things meant to outlast their first kitchen. The most sustainable cabinet is the one nobody needs to replace.
Personalized Design
Nothing here comes out of a catalogue. You work directly with the people who will build your project, from the first measurement to the last adjustment.

Our Process
Full service, all of it ours. We work with you at every step, from the first visit to your home through to the day we hand the room back.
On-Site Measuring & Consultation
We come to you. We measure the room ourselves, talk through how you actually use it, and get clear on style, material and budget before anything is drawn.
Design & Customization
We model your room in 3D with real appliance dimensions, so clashes and clearances surface on screen. You revise it until it is right; changes at this stage cost nothing.
Built In Our Shop
Everything is manufactured and finished in Bridgeview. Same hands, same booth, same standard on the drawer boxes as on the doors.
Delivery & Installation
We deliver and install it ourselves, scribe it to your walls, and set every door and drawer before we call it finished.
